Frozen: an ice cold adventure!
Highly praised by critics and winner of a
Golden Globe, the new Disney production has been the box office [3]
leader in recent weeks in Brazil, the USA and several European countries
Frozen is about two sisters. Anna, the youngest, is
cheerful, bold [4] and somewhat clumsy
[5]. Her sister, Elza, was born with the strange power to freeze objects and
cause blizzards [6]. They are
princesses and live in the kingdom
[7] of Arendelle. When the parents of the girls die, Elsa takes the throne.
However, she accidentally freezes the entire kingdom of Arendelle. Scared [8], and afraid [9] of causing more problems, Elza flees [10] the kingdom to seek refuge in the mountains, where she
will live in an ice castle she made for herself. But her sister Anna wants to
save the kingdom of Arendelle from eternal winter. She leaves on a long and
dangerous journey in search of her sister. On the way she comes across
Everest-like conditions. She also finds the mythical creatures and even a
funny, talking snowman [11], Olaf.
But Anna is not alone - she is helped by Kristoff, an ice seller who lives in
the mountains with his inseparable and loyal friend, Sven, a reindeer [12].
